Ft. Wayne and Northeastern Indiana is an attractive and desirable place to live, work and raise a family. Ft. Wayne once again carried the torch as a distinguished All-America City in 2009. The All-America City Award is America’s oldest and most prestigious community recognition. The win marks Fort Wayne’s third All-America City honor, which puts it in the All-America City hall of fame. The designation is given to cities that have won the award at least three times. Fort Wayne won the award in 1982, 1998 and now 2009. From the lakes and Pokagon State Park in Steuben County, to the Festival of the Kekiogna in Decatur, to the Whitley County 4-H fair and the Forks of the Pioneer Festival in Huntington, Northeastern Indiana is a great area.
