Client Assistance

At Foley & Small, we do many things to help our clients during the process of handling a claim. We do much to relieve the burden, stress and strain in having to cope with a serious injury, the death of a loved one or other personal and financial loss.

Medical Bills

We provide assistance to clients in the processing of medical bills to health insurance and automobile medical pay coverage. We will be in contact with insurance representatives to speed along the bill payment, submission and review process; will contact automobile insurance carriers for payments on medical pay coverage and we will contact employers for payments available under a disability policy.

Letters of Protection

For our clients who do not have health insurance, we can help deal with bill collectors and other collection efforts. We can issue letters of protection to health care providers advising them that their bills will be paid from any settlement. In many instances, further collection efforts by the health care providers will be suspended. We then make arrangements from any settlement or verdict obtained on behalf of our client to make payment of these billings. By doing so, the financial pressures of bill payments from medical bills is relieved until the conclusion of your case when all of your medical bills and other expenses will be paid.

Claim Administration

There are a variety of tasks that are involved with the assertion of the claim. At Foley & Small, our attorneys and our staff will relieve you of all those tasks and the burden of attending to them. All further contact with the insurance companies will occur through our office. You will no longer be troubled by claims adjusters and other insurance representatives. We will acquire all the necessary information to move your case forward. We will complete all the necessary submissions and provide all necessary information in the handling of your claim. Once your case goes to litigation, we will take care of all the court related matters in moving your case forward. In short, we relieve you of all the burden, stress and responsibility involved in moving a case forward and allow you to spend the time needed to recover from your injuries or loss and otherwise help you and your family on the road to recovery and resuming a normal life.

Financial Assistance

Under certain circumstances, Foley & Small can make arrangements to provide clients with financial assistance. After an injury or the death of a loved one, there can be a significant disruption of income to the family. We can work with employers, disability pay providers, banks and various lending institutions to try and secure interim financial assistance.
