News - Settlement of Slip & Fall Claim
Foley & Small settled a claim for a client who fell at a convenience store. The store would mop its floors during open hours instead of after closing, did not temporarily close the aisle where mopping would occur and failed to post wet floor signs. The client fell when she came out of the bathroom with the hall area mopped while she was in the bathroom. The client suffered a wrist/elbow injury which was first treated conservatively and then with surgery.
