News - Foley & Small LLP Settles an Adult Wrongful Death Claim for $1,000,000
Foley & Small achieved a settlement for the family of a young adult killed in motor vehicle collision. The young adult was a passenger in a vehicle struck by a semi tractor trailer. The claim was brought against the driver of the semi and his employer. Significant written discovery had been undertaken. The case proceeded to mediation, but settlement had not been achieved but only later achieved. Foley & Small intends to make a donation to the young girl’s high school to be used as a scholarship for graduating seniors in honor and memoriam.
