News - Meningitis Cases Removed to Federal Court
Foley & Small has filed a number of cases on behalf of clients who were victims of contaminated epidural injections resulting in spinal meningitis and in fungal infections. Those cases have been removed from state court to the federal District Court in South Bend, Indiana. In late December, the primary defendant, the New England Compounding Center, filed for bankruptcy with a bankruptcy court in Massachusetts. Foley & Small has claims to file on behalf of many other clients. Those complaints will be filed once further proceedings are undertaken in the pending federal court litigation and in the bankruptcy proceedings.
